The U.S. Ambassador’s Special Self-Help Fund (SSH) announces an open competition for organizations to submit applications to carry out a small, community-based development program. The program awards grants to non-profit, community-based organizations to implement short-term (12-month), small-scale (between US$2,500 and US$8,000) development projects that include significant community involvement. Priority consideration is given to income generating projects that improve basic economic or social conditions at the village level, which may include projects in sustainable agriculture, renewable energy, and access to clean water and sanitation. The deadline to submit proposals is 04 January 2022.
